- Reinforce awareness of adjectives by naming a noun and have them come up with adjectives to describe the noun. It would be fun to use Christmas nouns. :This can be done orally.

Today we reviewed Capitalization rules 1- 7. I introduced rule 8-10. We also reviewed Luke 8:4-10 and I did not introduced anew verse.. We did part 1 of lesson 3 in the composition book. - I introduced the letter u and w in cursive.
Homework for Wed. 9/19/18 is:
- Cursive - Finish page 21.
- Review and have capitalization rules 1-7 memorized.
- Begin to memorize Capitalization rules 8-10.
- Fill in page 20 of grammar book completely. (due Mon. 9/24)
- Memorize Luke 8: 4-10. the students were not ready for a new verse.
- Read in Farmer Boy through the chapter 9, "Breaking Calves" for Monday, September 24.

Today we reviewed Capitalization rules 1- 7. We also reviewed Luke 8:4-9 and I introduced Luke 8: 4-10. We did part 2 of lesson 2 in the composition book. I introduced the large pedal stroke and the cursive letters p, s, and t.
Homework for Monday, September 17 is:
- Cursive - Finish pages 19-20.
- Have capitalization rules 1-5 memorized.
- Continue working on memorizing capitalization rule 6-7.
- Make sure page 18 of the grammar book is filled in completely.
