      Note: The words in the alliteration can, but do not have to be right next to each

      other in the sentences..

Hi,

 

Today we reviewed the multi letter phonogram from list A - I and we reviewed the rules 1-16 and 19.  I added rule 17.  We discussed plurals, rule 22.  We worked on the plural page in the learning log.

 

I introduced words 1-10 from spelling list R-2. 

 

Homework for Wed. 9/17/18

 

 -        Review multi letter phonograms from list A - I.  This should be         done at least once daily.

 

-       Review rules 1- 17, 19, 22

 

-       In spiral notebook - write the spelling words 1-10 from

        R-2, 3 times each with the markings. 

        See spiral from class today.

 

-       Put the words form R-2, 1-10 in alphabetical order.

 

-       Make each word in R-2, 1-10 a plural and then use in a         sentence. You can use more than one spelling word in a sentence.     Please UNDERLINE the spelling words.

 

-       Pretest - This is very important!  Have someone give your         student a pretest.  Write any misspelled words at least three times each.

Today we reviewed the single letter phonograms and the multi letter phonograms from

lists A - I.  In our learning logs we finished the vowel/consonant page and the multi letter phonogram page.  We reviewed rules 1-12, 19 and I added rules 13-14.

 

Homework for Mon. Sept. 10 is:

 

-     Review all single letter phonograms and the multi letter phonograms from list A - I.  Please use the next week to master these.

 

-     Review rules 1-14, 19.

-     Do attached worksheets and bring to class.

We will begin spelling lists on Monday.  Each list has 20 words.  I will introduce 10 words on Monday and those will be tested on Wednesday.  I will introduce the second half of the list on Wednesdays and those will be tested on Mondays.

Homework will be changing quite a bit and we will be using our spiral notebooks everyday from now on.

lists A - H-1. I introduced the multi letter phonograms from lists H-2 and I.  In our learning logs we  worked on the vowel/consonant page.  We reviewed rules 1-10 and I added rules 11, 12 and 19.

-     Come up with three examples of each of the silent final e rules.  See rules 7.  Please mark.  Write these in your spiral.
